What is E3?

E3 ( Electronic Entertainment Expo) is a global trade event for the video game industry. E3 event is organized and presented by Entertainment Software Association (ESA), where many game developers, publishers, hardware and accessory manufacturers around the world used to introduce and advertise their upcoming games and game-related merchandise to the world retailers and to members of the press.

1. Starfield

And now after 25 years in the making, Bethesda has revealed its first major new universe “Starfield”. Bethesda released a 2 minute trailer at E3 2021, that gives a preview of what the game will look like.

The trailer depicts the story of an astronaut who is a part of a ‘CONSTELLATION‘ group climbing abroad a spacecraft and ready to explore the universe. From the trailer, it can be assumed that Starfield is Sci-Fi space exploration mission where players will be able to perform any character they want and explore the universe without limit.

The game’s director Todd Howard said that Starfield will be an expansive open world game where you have infinite possibilities to explore space. He also told that Starfield is an epic about ‘hope and humanity’. So now it will be exciting to see how Microsoft handles its release because Bethesda is owned by Microsoft.

2. Elden Ring

Elden Ring an action role playing fantasy game which was developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game is directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki with worldbuilding by fantasy novelist George R. R. Martin, best known for his A Song of Ice and Fire novel series.

As seen in the trailer, Elden Ring will not feature populated towns with non player characters unlike other open world games out there. ELDEN RING features vast fantastical landscapes and shadowy, complex dungeons that are connected seamlessly.

Here players can create there own custom characters with refined action-RPG and also you can define your playstyle by experimenting with a wide variety of weapons, magical abilities, and skills found throughout the world.

Since Elden Ring a lengthy game of around 30 hours, there will be full character and customization option with over 100 skills to master will be for the players. This game also includes stealth and weather system along with multiplayer support up to four players.

3. Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite is multiplayer gameplay that is free to play and will support cross gaming platforms. Halo Infinite, also known as Halo 6, is a First Person shooting video game which is developed by 343 Industries. It continues the storyline of the Master Chief as the third chapter of the Halo sequel series, known as the “Reclaimer Saga”. The official trailer did not revealed many secrets except for some small hints of what will this game is all about and looks like.

Whether you’re a returning player ready to check out the Master Chief’s new campaign or brand new to the franchise, Halo Infinite builds on the legacy foundations of the series’ sandbox-driven gameplay, including Big Team Battle and Arena. Master Chief will face toughest challenge in the history as he teams up with new AI and went on a quest to find out what was wrong.

This multiplayer game will be a mixture of old Halo combat system that looks like a battle royale or team deathmatch mode with new and advanced weaponized combat strategies with full customization. There is not much detail revealed about this game, but upon release we will be able see what are the new things implemented in this series.

4. Battlefield 2042

The new Battlefield is back with a new bang that has completely blown up the internet. After a long waiting time, all the battlefield die hard players feels reunited again. The trailer of Battlefield 2042 shown at E3 2021 gives us a glimpse of how intense and thrill the game can be. The game includes the latest advanced weapons, vehicles, aircrafts and environments, that will amaze you.

Battlefield 2042 is a first person perspective game that will allow 128 players to combat using multiple weapons in the most intense environment in different warfare modes like Conquest and Breakthrough. The “Conquest” mode will have two teams with capture key points on the map, while the “Breakthrough” mode will have the teams who will defend and attack a particular site.

The game takes place in a world where an extreme shortage of resources outbreaks war between US and Russia. The players have to land in the middle of this battle. 5. Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Sequel

The players who have been waiting from a long time for this 35 years old franchise game will now be more excited. In the E3 expo 2021, Nintendo dropped a bomb in the form of Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Sequel that won the hearts of many gamers around the world. While the sequel of this game was first announced in 2019 through a teaser, Nintendo had been hiding this whole thing until 2021′ E3 expo.

The 90 second trailer does not revealed much about this game except few things like Link returning to Hyrule’s cloud on an epic adventure journey. The short clip shows epic visuals as Link ascend to the skies, Bokoblins now have got mobile fortresses on the back of stone giants, Sheikah slate throws flame, Hyrule rise among the clouds and Ganondorf may not be the only villain in the game.

Even after the release of trailer in E3 2021, there is a sad news that this game is not going to release this year as Nintendo has set the release time for this game on 2022.

6. Flora Horizon 5

7. Far Cry 6

Yes you heard it right, Far Cry is returning once again with its new series. Being a fan of Far cry myself, I have been waiting for this game from a long time. Far Cry 6 trailer was revealed in E3 2021 where a wholly new and adventurous game play is going to be seen.

As shown in the trailer, Far Cry 6 implements several new weapons including a set of backpack jetpacks, rocket launchers and a gun that fires CDs at the enemies. Also there is option to choose arsenal as per your combat situation. The game also includes vertical elements such as climbing rooftops, using back alleys for fighting, etc.

Talking about its story line, Far Cry 6 will be set in the tropical nation of Yara which is inspired by the geography of Cuba. Players will be allowed to play the character of Dani Rojas, a revolutionary who wants freedom from the antagonist. The main villain in Far Cry 6 is Antón Castillo, a dictator, who has been in power for over 50 years. As the leader of Yara, he wants to restore the pride and glory of his nation by any means.

8. Metroid Dread

Metroid Dread is set on a new planet and features intergalactic bounty hunter Samus Aran, who is returning as the protagonist in a shiny new power suit. The trailer released in E3 2021 shows Aran making her way through a secret facility while being chased by a powerful robot known as E.M.M.I.

This is a 2D game that will act as the sequel of Metroid Fusion game where Samus descends upon planet ZDR to investigate a mysterious transmission that was sent to the Galactic Federation. The remote planet has become overrun by vicious and dangerous alien lifeforms and chilling mechanical menaces. Samus is more agile and capable than ever, but can she overcome the inhuman threat stalking the depths of ZDR?

9. S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chernobyl

S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chernobyl is the new sequel of Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl. This FPS shooting game continues the storyline of the Chernobyl disaster zone, as Strelokh makes its way to Pripyat. The trailer of Stalker 2 released depicts a small story where the main character sits around a campfire with a group and some conversations are going on.

In this game, you will be able to explore the vast Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, which is inhabitable for human to live. This game will also have survival mechanics such as sleep, hunger, bleeding and deadly radiation, which gives the game a realistic experience.

Stalker 2 looks extremely horrifying as the trailer is mainly focused on “The Zone, which is a 60 km exclusion zone around the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. From the trailer, it can be seen that Stalker 2 would be much more dangerous with enemies that have supreme powers.

This game is all about to discover the vast Chernobyl Exclusion Zone full of dangerous enemies, deadly anomalies and powerful artifacts, where you will be able to unveil your own epic story as you make your way to the Heart of Chernobyl. Also you have to make your choices wisely, as the choices will determine your fate in the end.

10. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
