Elon Musk has taken control of Twitter and fired its top executives including CEO, CFO & top lawyers.
Elon Musk has completed his $44 billion deal to buy Twitter, putting the world’s richest man in charge of one of the world’s most influential social media platforms.
Musk terminated Twitter Chief Executive Parag Agrawal, Chief Financial Officer Ned Segal and legal affairs and policy chief Vijaya Gadde.
He had accused them of misleading him and Twitter investors over the number of fake accounts on the social media platform.
Mr Musk said he bought the social media platform to help humanity and he wanted "civilisation to have a common digital town square".
